MIRU is a skin companion app. It uses AI to help you understand your skin, build a simple routine, and track your progress over time. It is personal guidance, not medical diagnosis.
MIRU is not a substitute for professional medical advice. If you have a skin condition, a medical concern, or any doubt about what you are seeing on your skin, see a dermatologist. MIRU is not a diagnostic tool and does not replace clinical care.
You must be at least 18 years old to use MIRU. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
You must use MIRU for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not use MIRU’s outputs — scan results, routine suggestions, ingredient analysis — to build a competing product or service.
Creating an account is optional. If you do create one, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time in Settings → Erase everything, or by emailing privacy@miru.skin.
When you submit a photo for analysis, you confirm that:
Your photo is deleted immediately after analysis. MIRU does not retain it. See our privacy policy for details.
Some features of MIRU require a paid subscription (MIRU Pro). Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, as selected at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe; MIRU does not store your card details.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You can cancel at any time in Settings → Manage subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then.
We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable consumer protection law (for example, the 14-day right of withdrawal under EU consumer law, where applicable).
Some retailer links can support MIRU. Every monetized retailer link is labelled “partner link”. That never changes what MIRU recommends: rankings are based on fit with your skin, not on which retailer pays more.
Full details are in our affiliate disclosure.
MIRU, its design, codebase, and AI models are our property. These terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or redistribute MIRU or its outputs at scale.
Your personal data — scan results, skin profile, routine — belongs to you. See our privacy policy for how to export or delete it.
MIRU’s guidance is based on AI analysis of a photo and a short questionnaire. Skin is complex. AI is imperfect. Results vary by lighting, angle, skin tone, and many factors outside our control.
We do not guarantee that MIRU’s suggestions will improve your skin. We do not guarantee that MIRU will be available without interruption. We do not guarantee that the ingredient information in MIRU is complete or current for every product in every market.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MIRU is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of MIRU.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including UK and EU consumer protection law).
You agree not to:
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms.
We may update these terms as MIRU evolves. If the change is material, we will notify signed-in users by email at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree, you can delete your account before the change takes effect.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.
If you are in the EU, you may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform.
